CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

We offer three flagship Certificate Programs in Music, Artist Development, and Engineering and Music Production. The Music Program, developed and chaired by guitar virtuoso Uros Raskovski, features a challenging and fun curriculum which develops the student's instrumental technique as well as abilities in the areas of music theory, ear training, rhythm training, sight reading, improvisation, ensemble performance, and stylistically appropriate interpretation. The Artist Development program, chaired by distinguished vocalist Phillip Ingram, is similar to A&R departments at major record labels, giving the student who is already a talented artist an ample share of studio recording time, developing their repertoire and studio performance experience, creating professional quality recordings and launching their career in the music business. The Engineering and Music Production program, developed by legendary Grammy-winning producer Reggie Dozier and currently chaired by expert engineer Bill Ford (owner/operator of Sync Tone Studios), is a one-year crash course in modern pro recording studio skills including microphone technique, analog & digital signal processing, live sound reinforcement, mixing, and mastering. We also offer an Intensive English Program designed to strengthen the English communication skills of non-Native speakers.

UNIQUE COURSES, LESSONS & STUDIO SERVICES

In addition to our main program classes, CCM offers a variety of unique electives and standalone courses including DJ and Turntable Technology, The History of American Commercial and Pop Music, Educator Workshop, and Apple Logic Pro Certification Training. Any class offered at CCM may be taken outside of the program, meaning that we give you the option to create your own completely Customized Curriculum. We also provide Demo Recording, Mixing, and Mastering services in our state-of-the-art recording studios, guided by our staff of industry professionals. This service is for bands or artists who wish to record, mix, and master a professional quality demo which will represent them to the music industry. We also offer students of all ages private music lessons on any instrument, including guitar, bass, piano, voice, drums & percussion, as well as all types of strings, woodwinds, and brass.
