SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

Introduction

The California College of Music offers scholarship opportunities for exceptionally gifted domestic and international students. A limited number of instrumental and vocal scholarships will be given to talented students based on outstanding overall performance ability and musicianship. Scholarships are open to any student preparing to enter CCM and pursuing full-time enrollment in the Music Program.

Award Amounts:

  • Full Tuition Scholarship
  • Half Tuition Scholarship
  • $4,500 Tuition Reduction
  • $2,500 Tuition Reduction
  • $1,000 Tuition Reduction

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INFORMATION :
How to apply and required materials to be submitted:
  1. Submit a completed Scholarship Application.
  2. Submit a non-refundable Application Fee ($75 for domestic; $150 for international applicants.)
  3. Submit your Demo recording (Maximum two demo songs, in the form of a MP3 / WMV / CD / DVD / YouTube link).
  4. Submit Statement of Purpose. (Maximum one page of letter sized paper, with the explanation of “How this scholarship will support my goals of succeeding in the music industry”).
Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be seventeen years of age or older.
  • Applicants must apply for the Certificate Program or AA Degree Program at CCM.
  • Applicants must have a High School Diploma, College Transcript, or the equivalent.
  • Applicants must have maintained a good academic record.
  • Applicants must demonstrate exceptional musical ability, talent and musicianship (demonstrated in a demo submission or live audition performance).

Rules and Regulations:

  • The CCM Scholarships/Tuition Reductions are available for new applicants only. Previously or currently enrolled students are not eligible.
  • Double entries or entries with more than two demo songs or a one page personal statement will be automatically disqualified.
  • Demos and statements are considered final once submitted by the applicant.
  • CCM is not responsible for damage or loss of any entry.
  • The decisions of the judges are final. Judges reserve the right to withhold prizes if no contestants are deemed qualified to win a scholarship.
  • Private Lesson Fees are exempt from all Scholarship awards.
  • Students receiving Scholarships/Tuition Reductions may not discuss received awards or award amounts with other students.
  • The CCM Scholarships/Tuition Reductions is non-transferable and has no redeemable cash value
