California College of Music's Apple Training Center for Education in Pasadena, Los Angeles presents:
APPLE LOGIC PRO CERTIFICATION TRAINING (weekend classes)
Two 4-week courses offered each quarter!
This 4-week course is intended for individuals in the Los Angeles area interested in learning music production and composition through Logic Pro, Apple's professional digital audio workstation and MIDI sequencing application. Students will receive hands-on instruction in our Apple certified lab room from music producer and Apple Logic Pro certified instructor, Darryl Moore.
Immediately upon completing this course, students can take the Logic Pro certification exam. Apple Pro certification distinguishes an individual to future employers as an expert in operating an Apple Pro application. Logic Pro certification is particularly desirable for musicians and audio engineers who wish to begin careers in the film or music industry.

Core topics include:
- Basic features and user interface of Logic Studio
- MIDI and audio recording
- Customized audio and MIDI programming
- Audio editing and arrangement techniques
- Loops, arrangements, mixing and exporting mixes
- Programming drum beats
- Motion picture scoring
