Born in Oxnard, CA, the multi-talented Brenda Kaye Pierce began singing, playing piano, and composing at age 12. Under the great influence of her mother, a church pianist, she was encouraged to join the church choir, which she began accompanying and directing by age 18.
Brenda has performed, recorded and collaborated on compositions with music industry giants such as Wayne Henderson and the Jazz Crusaders, Jermaine and Rebbie Jackson, Rodney Gordy, Stevie Wonder, Robert Palmer, Chico and El De Barge, Ray Parker Jr., and Vanessa Williams. Labels who have released Brenda's work include BCA, Warner Brothers, Sony, Arista, Motown, Virgin, and RCA. Brenda's other artistic adventures include acting and fashion design, which she studied at the Fashion Institute in Los Angeles. Her wide range of experience in the professional music world makes her an excellent vocal instructor for young singers hoping to develop their vocal abilities.
