After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, Kevin Dorsey was brought to Los Angeles by legendary composer and producer Quincy Jones to work on his film score for Steven Spielberg's classic motion picture The Color Purple. Kevin's work on that monumental film jumpstarted his career as a major session vocalist and commercial voice-over artist. His classic voice-over, "Oh, Yeah!" from the motion picture Ferris Bueller's Day Off has made his voice one of the most recognizable in American pop culture.
Kevin frequently performs with Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Celine Dion, Mötley Crüe, Rod Stewart, Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Lyle Lovett and Clint Black.
For the past 25 years, Kevin was the vocal director for Michael Jackson's concert tours, which includes the Dangerous and History world tours. He was to rejoin Jackson in the "This is It" tour, scheduled to start in July 2009.
