Darryl is one of the founders of West Coast Underground Hip-Hop and has worked with a number of mainstream and underground Hip-Hop and Jazz artists. Throughout his extensive career, Darryl has been a drummer for Chick Corea, Alkaholics, Watts Prophets, and Billy Higgins. He has also engineered music for Erykah Badu, George Clinton, Madlib, Dudley Perkins, and Acey Alone. His production credits include: The Pharcyde, Freestyle Fellowship, Olmecca, Acid Reign and Jah Orah.

Darryl, as an instructor of Digital Audio at the California College of Music, is passing his extensive knowledge of hip-hop and audio recording to the next generation of music makers.
