Bio

Since 1990 Uros has performed, recorded and toured as a band member and a guest artist with various bands, his most recent projects being Steelheart, Five Finger Death Punch and Marcel Coenen's solo album. His energetic, versatile and precise guitar playing can be heard on records sold worldwide.

Since 2001, Uros has been a crucial figure in the development of what is now known as the California College of Music. Very soon after he began teaching in the school he assumed the role of the Music Director which enabled him to make massive revisions and additions to the curriculum. Uros' modern approach to music theory and its applications, his hands-on way of instruction, as well as his emphasis of stylistic versatility, have impacted students from both the US and abroad. Uros�Eplaying style is a sum of many influences ranging from blues, rock and metal to fusion, funk, latin, gospel, and jazz.

Teaching Philosophy

Uros is a very intense and dynamic instructor. He believes in bringing out the maximum potential of each student by always pushing the boundaries in performance, creativity and overall musicality. While focusing on strong theoretical knowledge of music and its constant hands-on applications to any instrument, style or musical situation, Uros always encourages his students to break the rules, think �outside the box�Eand never be afraid to be pioneers of new concepts.
