Julia is a singer/songwriter who specializes in teaching voice and performance technique to kids and teenagers. She studied classical voice, theory, composition, and jazz performance at the High School for Performing Arts in Manhattan; the same school featured in the hit movie musical Fame . Shortly after receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Music, she moved to Los Angeles and released Urban Legacy, her first independent album of original music. The daughter of guitar legend Stanley Jordan, Julia has performed on tour with her father since the age of 17, giving concerts at famous jazz venues and festivals as well as performing with her own band.
