Yuya Morishita

Technical Assistant

Originally from Fukui, Japan, Yuya Morishita graduated from the Pasadena International Music Academy as an engineer. Since receiving PIMA's Certificate of Completion in 2005, Yuya has worked with some of the most respected names in the music industry including, Grammy nominated Marcus Miller, Herbie Mason, George Benson, Jeffrey Osborne, Ricky Lawson, Take 6, and Ray Parker Jr. In 2007 Yuya was asked by Reggie Dozier to be his apprentice, and has been working closely with Reggie as his Technical Assistant. He also has assisted as a live sound technician for the Motown Heroes and Legends concert, as well as at a number of well-known music venues including, the Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills and Catalina Bar and Grill in Los Angeles.
