Over the years, Paulo Gustavo has worked with an extensive number of artists across many musical genres. He has appeared on Primera Edición on the television channel Univision, and performed across the United States and Europe . He is currently working with the LA based flamenco-jazz project Mojacar Flamenco and the retro disco band Roller Coaster Party. He has 7 years of teaching experience, including the 4 years he has taught here at the California College of Music.
Paulo's philosophy is "It's not because things are difficult that we don't try, it's because we don't try that things are difficult." He lives his life by this sentiment, and has worked hard for years to become an accomplished bassist in Latin, jazz, Brazilian, fusion, R&B, rock, and pop styles.
