Bio

Walter Miranda has performed as a featured keyboardist for the Beastie Boys. He's recorded and shared the stage with Los Lobos, Sublime, Santana and Sean Lennon. Walter is currently teaming up with Singer-songwriter Cava, introducing the new sounds of Latin-powered jazz tinged with Peruvian soul. It is a combination of sounds unique to a Mexican-American upbringing. In 2004 they both shared the screen in Universal Pictures film "Along Came Polly", starring Ben Stiller & Jennifer Aniston.

Teaching Philosophy

"Walter concentrates on finding out each student's roots in order to bring out the best and most efficient way to bring out their inner artistic abilities. He likes to connect with his students and expose them to various styles of music."
