Ryan Brown received his Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University, where he focused on jazz and percussion studies. He has been lucky enough to study with the world-class drummers Kenny Aronoff, Tom Stubbs, Wilber England, Butch Miles, and Joey Heredia.

Ryan has been playing for 18 years, and has over 11 years of teaching experience. He has performed, recorded and toured with artists such as Dave Potts, the David Baker Quartet, the Guy Lombardo Royal Canadians, OWL, Deborah Gee, Emmett North, Jr., Kwanza Jones, the McLaughlin Group, Gliss, Endure, and others. Ryan Brown has extensive playing experience in numerous musical settings including rock bands, jazz combos, big bands, percussion ensembles, theatrical musicals, cruise ship show bands, R&B groups, and orchestras.
