Oren Waters is considered a true gem to his students. Oren became the anchor tenor in what was to become the nation’s most successful backup singing group, known as "The Waters." With over 260 gold and over 100 platinum albums to their credits with artists ranging from Neil Diamond, Patti La Belle, Paul Simon, John Fogerty, Janet and Michael Jackson; to movie sound tracks including Happy Feet, The Lion King, Little Mermaid 3, Shriek, The Matrix and American Gangster"; as well as television theme songs which include The Jefferson’s, Show Time at the Apollo, Murphy Brown and Fame. Despite a prominent background and a demanding schedule, Oren manages to dedicate his time and passion to CCM students.

He is known to increase vocal ranges through intense warm-ups and exercise. Students consider Oren to be a knowledgeable instructor with a knack for teaching and a heart that cares. CCM is proud to have Oren on their faculty team!
