Pianist and composer Yoel DeJesus studied at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester, NY and later received his bachelor's degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Originally hailing from Philadelphia, Yoel is an independent music professional, producer, and teacher now working in the greater Los Angeles area. Yoel teaches students of all levels in contemporary piano with emphasis in jazz, improvisation, music theory, and compositional technique spanning several genres including baroque, classical, 20th century classical, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B.
