A: The three full-time major programs at CCM are the general Music major, Artist Development major, and the Engineering and Music Production majors. These major programs can also be taken part-time, and scheduled to accommodate your availability. The two part-time programs are Demo Recording, and DJing and Turntable Technology. Private lessons are also available, most commonly taken in one hour, one-and-a-half hour, or two hour sessions. Half hour and forty-five minute private lessons are also available. Q: Where can I go to jam?
A: On Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:30-4:30 pm you are invited to attend an open jam session with CCM's contemporary ensemble! Usually led by virtuoso guitarist Uros Raskovski, the jam session frequently performs in rock, funk, jazz, and fusion styles, among others. Everyone is encouraged to attend to play with other talented musicians and get a taste of what music education at CCM is like! We also keep information posted on campus about local open mic nights and jam sessions.
