CCM PROGRAMS

CCM provides intensive training for many talented vocalists, instrumentalists, audio engineers, DJs, and music producers. Our three flagship programs are designed with the philosophy that the most effective instruction is given in an intimate environment, allowing for a student-centered, personalized curriculum. In a hands-on student experience similar to taking private lessons, CCM students receive more personal attention than they would in a larger institution. Another great feature CCM offers is the opportunity to take classes not directly related to your program of study! This allows a cellist to take DJing, an engineer to take music theory, or a singer to study the music business. Depending on what your musical interests are, there are no limits to how far you can take your professional education!

CCM uses the quarter system, with 11 weeks of instruction in each quarter and four quarters in each year. New students are admitted in the Spring and Fall Quarters (April and October). There are two levels to each program:

  • Apprentice Level (2 quarters to complete;
    22 weeks of instruction over a 6 month period)
  • Professional Level (4 quarters to complete;
    44 weeks of instruction over a one year period.)

The Apprentice Level represents the first two quarters of the Professional Level; students who complete the Apprentice Level may opt to continue on and complete the Professional Level. The certificate programs offered at CCM are:
