MUSIC SUMMER CAMP
for INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The summer program of California College of Music (CCM) will introduce you to the inspirational world of American contemporary music.
Though CCM’s 3 week summer program, you will experience: instrumental, DJ and/or vocal performance workshops, a music tour of California, a unique English prep program, the opportunity to meet professionals in the music world and a studio recording of your music.

| WEEK 1 |
Pasadena, California welcomes you. To prepare for your upcoming adventure, CCM will provide you with Music Appreciation courses that take you on a journey throughout the history of American music. You will mingle with a CCM student “music guide” who will assist you with classes, workshops and culture. In addition, you will have V.I.P. access to the world renowned venues of Los Angeles, meet some of the masters of music business, tour LA, and shop and dine in style.
*Tour the CCM studios, choose the song you wish to record, mingle with other students who could potentially be involved with your project.

| WEEK 2 |
CCM will take you on tour to participate in the Grass Valley World Music Festival in San Francisco. On the way, you will visit the majestic Yosemite National Park, shop in San Francisco and tour Sacramento (California’s capitol). This unique tour focuses on providing its students with a once in a lifetime experience that embeds the world of music and creativity into reality.
*Many students write songs about their experiences during the tour for their studio recording session.
While on tour, English courses on the road will be an integrated experience.
While you are out of the classroom, you will keep a journal in English of the experiences you’ve encountered throughout your music tour. Don’t worry! You will have a certified English instructor to guide you along the way. At the end of your tour, you will present an experience to your tour members in English.
It is a total hands-on and ears open experience for anyone who loves music!

| WEEK 3 |
Finally, studio session preparation. Once you’re back at CCM, you will return to your original schedule of workshop training to prepare for your in-studio recording! CCM’s finest engineers and producers will work with you to record a demo made to share with family and friends. A trip to Disneyland, English trip presentation, farewell concert and party will bring your memorable experience to a close.
