This program is designed for our students who want to learn music theory and performance technique. Students are given the opportunity to learn music from many different angles.

Core Classes include music theory, ear and rhythm training, technique, and improvisation. Lab and Workshop Classes expose students to different musical genres and new playing and/or singing techniques. Elective classes give students the opportunity to learn a second instrument, or try something different that may lead to the development of a new skill. They can study songwriting, DJ Techniques, MIDI Programming, or Engineering as an elective. Our Ensemble students meet as a group, learning how to work together to shape the music. Working successfully alongside other musicians is a very important skill that we aim to foster in our students.
