PRIVATE LESSONS

Private Lessons for Teens and Adults

Learn guitar, bass, voice, piano/keys, drums, or any instrument of your choice! Private lessons for children, teens and adults are shaped to each student's needs and skill level.

Depending upon your goals you can learn to play your favorite songs, explore a specific style, or focus on performance skills, ear training, theory, and/or repertoire. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced performer, our talented instructors will identify your key areas for growth, and sculpt a lesson plan which will address your full musical potential, developing proper technique and a well-rounded ability on your instrument(s). Purchase a lesson package of two months or more and save on each lesson!

You can select from:

Standard Lessons
With the instructor's help, students learn to identify areas for improvement in their playing and their overall musical understanding. Instructors will lead students through analysis of the music of their choice, and use proven methods to strengthen their skills and realize their full musical potential.

ShredHeads - metal guitar lessons
Focus is placed on advanced guitar techniques found mostly in hard rock and metal styles of playing: tapping, arpeggiation, sweep picking, etc. Develop extreme agility and dexterity across the entire fretboard.

Singer/Songwriter - demo experience
Students take guitar and/or piano lessons, voice lessons, and get a home recording crash course along the way! Students will complete a demo CD to showcase their songwriting and performing abilities.

Performance Skills
Open to individuals as well as existing bands, our performance skills lessons are designed to help you boost your overall professional presentation. Focus on sharpening specific aspects of your performance such as intonation, dynamics, and repertoire selection. Bands enrolled in the performance skills lessons will "tighten up" by concentrating on accurate rhythm and phrasing, group dynamics, and musical interplay between the musicians.

Tutoring for entrance into music schools
This package is specifically designed for those who are preparing to audition for entrance into another major music school or conservatory, or for auditions for professional productions. Industry professional and university-trained instructors will greatly increase your chances of having a successful audition! Select from one of the following categories:

Conservatory:
Focus is on classical theory, repertoire, technique, and flawless performance.
Contemporary:
Focus is on jazz/pop/rock theory, repertoire, technique, delivery, and professional presentation.
