ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Artist Development Program at CCM is for gifted performers who are ready to take their professional music career to the highest level possible. Our program not only educates the student about all aspects of the music business, but also places the student into every type of musical setting that he/she will need to master in order to succeed as a professional musician in today's rapidly changing industry. For example, each student's exciting curriculum includes Contemporary Ensemble, where vocalists and musicians are placed in bands to collaborate together, arranging, performing, and recording songs as a band in different modern styles. Another cornerstone of the Artist Development program is the Studio Session course, where each student is paired with a talented music producer for a block of studio time every week to learn the studio skills needed by today's versatile recording session musician, recording their own professional demo CD along the way.
